WANDER CO.
This film started like all good friendships...through Instagram. Alex approached me via the Gram for a creative collaboration a while back, but being in different cities (me Sydney, her in Melbourne) it didn't work out at the time. Then earlier this year I booked some work on the south coast, traveling through Melbourne on the way. So I got in touch with Alex to see if we could adventure to some of her local coffee spots (which we did a lot of). But as we chatted in the buzzing cafe a little spark of a film was lit and Alex invited me to visit her studio right then. Camera in hand, I followed her to a shared studio space with sculptor Den Holm. Its fresh white walls, sun soaked air and splattering of exotic plants had my heart a flutter! We immediately decided to shoot the story of her thoughtfully designed and hand bound book Wander.
